This was my first time shooting at Seven Springs VA and I am so hoping my weddings take me up there even more!!! From the charming colonial homes to the sweet little sheep, Cupid!, the beautiful evening light that streams through the trees and the stunning glowing sunset the venue is oozing charm and I can see why Alex & Billy chose it!!

I think my favorite part of the wedding was Alex told me multiple times, it’s so important to have pictures of the people who are celebrating with us. I love that they both could recognize and honor it all! Also, how cute is Cooper making an appearance through the day?! He did so good walking down the aisle!

Alex & Billy chose a golden hour ceremony and to forego a first look, so we started the day with details and separate bridal party shots! The perfect thing about this property is there are multiple homes the guests can access during events so we were easily able to keep Alex and her girls towards the front of the property and Billy in the back closer to the ceremony site! I have to brag on Alex for one second. She is a SUPER talented artist and spent so much time crafting, painting, designing, planning details of her day. From the incredible invites and paper goods, I have honestly never seen such beautiful ones, to all the signs, the hand painted globes, the faux book covers, candle favors I mean everything. Her talent is SO incredible and I can’t wait for her to get home so I can finally place an order 😉

The reception was so much fun with a sweet welcome from her dad followed by the traditional “Opa!” Lots of greek dancing, well just dancing in general!, fantastic food and the perfect “fall” evening! Their day was truly gorgeous from start to finish and I’m so happy for these three to be official!
