I could just pinch myself with the incredible brides, guys and friends I have had the chance to spend time with this year (and upcoming!!) every single one of my brides is such a gem and Shannon is no exception!! When I first met her she was just so blunt and can make me laugh, I loved her humor. Ralph is the kind of guy you feel like you’ve always known, he has this friendly demeanor and it’s easy to see how perfectly they fit together. Their engagement session will always be one of my absolute FAVORITES, so I was SO ready to get this wedding day going at The Water Table!

I started at Shannon & Ralph’s new beautiful home which is photographer #goals! Perfectly neutral with the most beautiful light pouring in, it was such a great space to get ready in!! Her girls were FABULOUS, I seriously wanted my own pink dress and pretty makeup so I could be a bridesmaid that day! I loved getting to be in her home because Rico, Shannon & Ralph’s cute fur baby, got some time with momma before she left and everyone was able to relax and enjoy the whole process (just how it should be!) Stephanie, Shannon’s MOH and bestie made her the most special book for her wedding day! In it she had documented all the fun pre wedding events and plans, then had special notes to Shannon. These letters were from Ralph, her mom, godmother, etc and she got to read them that morning! Such a sweet and thoughtful thing, every girl needs a Stephanie!

We headed over to The Water Table in Virginia Beach so Shannon could get dress and we could knockout some pictures before the ceremony of the guys! I love the getting ready space at The Water Table too! So pretty and girly with gorgeous light! A few first looks with the special guys in her life and it was time for my Barbie bride to scoot down the aisle to her man. I just have to mention that arch that her dad built and Kelly Gish adorned with florals. Most definitely one of my favorite pieces of decor and the biggest perk it moved (so handy because we needed to move it for portraits!) Pictures were done and now it was time to PARTY and what a FUN reception!! I had the best time with all the guests and watching them enjoy the slideshow I put together for Ralph & Shannon.

I can’t thank you both enough for letting me be a part of your day! Your friends and family were so sweet and welcoming, outward proof of the kind of people you are. Hope Turks & Caicos is amazing!!!

(PS: Shannon I am totally cashing in on that wine date! Bring Stephanie ;D )
