It has been a long time coming for me to get to Belle Isle in Richmond! I have always wanted to shoot there on the rocks in the river and these two were so gracious to shoot there!! Alex and Billy live nearby and visit often with their pup Cooper, so it was more exciting for me I think. Well, the river was at an all time high that day (literally people were white water kayaking in it!!) and there were zero rocks to be found so needless to say we didn’t get any on the rocks BUT we did have the best time walking around and just hanging out!!

It was a day where we could FINALLY see spring on the horizon and it made it that much sweeter. Alex is one of those girls I just feel like I have always known, and quite honestly we should have known each other long ago because we have so many intersection life paths!! She has the B E S T laugh and Billy brings it out! Alex is a talented artist and we swapped bride stories, talked about our mutual friends and their cute babies, and about their September wedding at Seven Springs (I cannot WAIT!!!!!!)
