Man, I need to shake the dust off this blog! It’s been so long and I realize I have some great stuff to share on here from prior to my site relaunch so there will definitely be a few posts in the next couple weeks from the end of 2018!

BUT let’s start with my first engagement session of 2019…Sarah & Andrew! After rescheduling this session twice due to poor weather, it was a welcome break to at least have the sun shining. Don’t be fooled, it was not warm and Sarah is a total trooper for rocking that jumpsuit at the end because once the sun went down…OH!

I was so excited to meet Sarah in person because we had the best time chatting about her wedding during our phone meeting. They’re getting married at a newer venue in Virginia The Barn at Timber Creek and I am SO excited to shoot there!! When thinking about her day she knew that pictures were going to be the most important part. As parents these two know how important they are and they really just want to make sure all the important moments are taken care of! My main goal at engagements, is to get my guys to say the f word by the end…you know…FUN…and Andrew did so I call that a success!! Add in that Sarah pointed out he had his genuine smile in a bunch of photos and I am just already counting down the days until their fall wedding!

When trying to narrow down a spot for engagements, Andrew really was hoping to get his car in a few shots (maybe we can call it his other baby? ;D ) SO thankful to Big House Farm for letting us use their property which provided PLENTY of space and beautiful fields! Paule Stone from The Posh Pair killing it on the beauty for Sarah too!
