So I tried really really hard to narrow this session down but look….it’s a huge blog post 😉
Last week Kenny and I ventured 3 hours north for these Charlottesville engagements with Caitlin & Brendan at Carter’s Mountain Orchard! We were originally supposed to start later in the day but after checking the 24 hour forecast moved it up since the day was supposed to be gloomy and the winds would increase later in the day. We ended up having the mountain pretty much to ourselves!! They brought their sweet dog Remington along, who was in heaven in the cold mountain air and we just spent time taking in the views! The perk of that gloomy weather? You can see the mountains easily in pictures!!
Now, this day has been a long time coming because these two have been together for YEARSSSSS!!!! When Brendan proposed this summer everyone in the family was so ecstatic because Caitlin has pretty much been family for years already and now they were making it official!!! They did SO good for their session because what you don’t see is it was a snuggly 44* on the top of that mountain and it quickly dropped temperatures at the end of our session but they were happy to be there and just cozied up!
Caitlin & Brendan I cannot wait for your wedding next year!!! Enjoy some (I use that term loosely because there is a lot!) of my favorites!!!
