Though the skies threatened a random rainstorm all morning and afternoon, Holly and Tyler ended up with the most perfect wedding day weather ever! It was cool and breezy but the sun came out during the ceremony and it just kept the humidity and everything at bay the rest of the evening.
One thing I love about shooting at Culpepper Barn is that everything can happen in one spot. Holly and the girls got ready in the main building while Tyler and his guys were able to get ready and hang in the barn for the morning. We were able to walk between the buildings for pictures and capitalize on all that saved time for photos!! Their ceremony was SO sweet, my first time with Married by Evan who was fantastic! I love that they handed out bubbles to guests for a fun recessional at the end of the ceremony! Bubbles are some of my favorite things to add to photos because of how they play with light!
Holly and Tyler are the first couples I have ever had play music together for their guests at their reception and I wanted more!! It’s fitting since they became friends over music, playing in a band for a while together and then reconnecting over music, that it was part of their wedding day!
They’re enjoying an Alaskan honeymoon and I’ve been vacation dreaming after seeing their videos! Enjoy some of my favorites!
