As I’m sitting here writing this there is a fresh 5″ of snow on the ground and it’s still falling, hard to imagine these pictures were shot just three days before that and it was nowhere near 20*!! Thank goodness because Brittani is like me and we just are NOT cold weather people, we can’t hang. Chris is military and will be leaving the end of January, so engagements were happening regardless of the weather and good old Mother Nature just came through for these two! I have to share their engagement story: Chris used the jolliest man to help him propose, Santa! They were at a mall Santa and Chris had this whole elaborate plan set but the girl who takes the pictures totally dropped the ball and fumbled the ordeal! Chris recovered, she said YES and that’s what brought us here!

Together these two are FUNNY! A lot of times when I meet the groom, it’s our first time talking so the pressure of being in front of my camera can be unnerving but not Chris. He is hilarious and one of those guys who just makes you feel like you’ve known him for a while with his humor. Brittani entertains him and let’s him believe he’s funny 😉

They’re planning a perfect summer wedding at The Portsmouth Women’s Club and I cannot wait!! All things feminine and pretty at one of the best venues in the area!
