If you would have told me two years ago my calendar for 2018 would be FULL of incredible brides and guys who just are totally dreamies, I would have laughed at you but here I sit and jokes on me (thankfully!). Meredith and Erik are one of my couples with Katelyn from Haddy Ever After and it makes me so much more excited for their day!!

Originally we had planned to shoot their session in the beautiful section of Norfolk and on the water, but after a beach vacation to the Bahamas these two changed their mind and wanted a beach session. After getting dolled up 9hair by Flawless-Amberly and makeup by Blushtones-Margaret) we spent the early evening in East Beach! I can’t even believe how perfect of a night it was when two nights before I was drenched from shooting in the heat and humidity. Thank goodness too, because these two live out of town and were on full wedding planning to do while they had a few days here. Erik travels a lot internationally and will spend much of the next year in China with his job, while Meredith holds down the fort stateside with a few trips to see him. So that means their time together has to be quality and meaningful, perfect time for engagements!!

I loved spending time down there and hearing more plans for their day! Counting down the days until we do it again, this time with a bigger white dress! 😉
