After my last wedding in August I took a little shooting break as the boys ended summer and we started a new chapter of BOTH of them being in school full-time!! It’s been quite the adjustment around here and honestly I miss them! But this session was the perfect way to get back behind the camera!

Jillian & Ryan are actually living in New York but Jillian is from Virginia Beach and they’ll get married next year at the Cavalier Golf & Yacht Club, right on the water!! It’s a beautiful venue with fantastic sunsets and I am just praying the weather is very close to how it was for these engagements!

She chose the cutest neighborhood in Norfolk so we could take advantage of their immaculate landscaping but also the quiet beach with perfect sunsets. I loved finally getting to meet her after talking through text and social media for what seems like forever!! Not to mention Ryan! They were both SO easy to work with (I mean isn’t she stunning?!) and he kept the laughs coming with his humor!

Have I mentioned before I LOVE the beach in late summer/early fall? The light is gorgeous and you can’t beat the weather!
