Outdoor sessions in July are always a challenge because the heat and also the super late sunset means we start much later in the day, but outdoor MATERNITY sessions are definitely the toughest! My sweets momma’s are troopers!!

Ailsa was just SO excited to take maternity pictures she didn’t even care about the temps, which had dropped a smidge after a few afternoon thunderstorms. The beauty of it was we had the softest glow from the sky and the water felt SO good!

We stayed out there well after the sun was gone and I just love how all these turned out. The soft colors, the beautiful sky, the park to ourselves and most of all the last weeks before Ailsa and Steven welcome their son together!
