The forecast had 0% chance of rain and when I pulled up my Dark Sky app while I was standing AT the Founders Inn and still 0% and I was outside in a light mist. I walked into the calmest getting ready room, where Kristen and her girls were relaxing waiting for me! Bopping around were the three cutest flower girl/princesses who were ready and willing for picture time! 🙂 Makes me happy!
Kristen decided to push forward with an outdoor ceremony since the weather had no rain in the forecast and hoped it would stop. Choosing to forego a first look and share it at the wedding aisle, we thankfully were able to do wedding party portraits before it got dark. All her girls were SO fantastic standing outside taking portraits (they were covered but still!)
Surrounded by their favorite people, who not only celebrated with them on a Saturday night but literally sat in the RAIN during their ceremony, these two said I do. Their ceremony was sweet, with prayers and officiated by family, along with an umbrella that decided to revolt when it was needed 😉 These two were SUCH troopers, even after standing outside in the rain they gave me a few minutes to grab portraits so I could steal their epic rain portrait. If you’re going to get married outside IN the rain, it deserves a great portrait to remember for it!!!
The reception started, special dances were had and the dance floor quickly turned into a dance off floor!!! It was SO fun!!! Hope you both enjoy Aruba (obviously I’m partial since that’s where we honeymooned!!)
