I could hardly believe it going through all these pictures that Kara, the quiet girl from Dance Magic who everyone liked, was now actually a bride and had emailed ME about it! I’m confused how she grew up and I’m still the same age ;D

When we were planning their session, Kara really wanted to have it in the Freemason District of Norfolk, easily one of my favorite areas. It is beautiful with many options for locations, but it was more than that to them. We actually started our session in front of Kara’s old apartment where these two spent a lot of time hanging out and walking the streets near the river growing their relationship. It’s just a win it’s also beautiful!! It was so fun to style this session with Kara and help her pick outfits and hair!! I love that she really made the most of our session and for that has a ton of beautiful portraits to share!!

Small world moment: KC is actually the uncle of one of Pierson’s best buds from daycare who will be making his ring bearer debut at the wedding!! As she sent me little sneaks here and there of decor, dresses, ideas I can feel my excitement growing more and more for this day!! I know it’s going to be so beautiful to celebrate with these two and all their loved ones at the Historic Post Office!
