Whew it is hard to believe their gorgeous day was a month ago and I was working that wedding 37 weeks pregnant!! Originally I had stopped taking weddings because we were trying for a second baby but when Gretchen contacted me we had had no luck and I happily agreed, she won me over with her infectious personality, super friendly smile and I just instantly adored her! If you missed her gorgeous bridals, stopped right now check them out and then come back for her wedding day!

 As soon as I walked into the room where her and her girls were hanging out, Gretchen flipped her hand up and revealed a nicely bandaged RING FINGER. “I kinda cut myself last night and now I have stitches. Only me!” she laughed. Thanks to the wind and driving rain, we were confined to the inside of the church that day too for photos but it didn’t phase Gretchen one bit.

She was marrying Brandon today and that was all that mattered.

Their day was overflowing with love, warmth and prayers that I know included those for healthy lives and fun adventures.

I can’t say enough about how fabulous her family was to me either. Thankfully Pierson cooperated and we worked it out fine but they constantly reassured me I could rest, eat, drink, whatever. Seriously, the sweetest people in the world!!

After a beautiful ceremony, we headed over to The Signature at West Neck where Stacey Jelley and her team did an incredible job of keeping that reception party fed and relatively dry 😉 Borderline Crazy did a phenomenal job of keeping the entire group dancing well into the night! Seriously, it’s so rare that a live band can keep so many people on the dance floor the entire reception!!

Gretchen & Brandon-thank you for being two souls who were simply so amazing to work with! I cannot wait to see you both in the Spring and catch up on how married life is treating you!
