There are alot of times I look at my husband and truly don’t know what I did to deserve him.

I have no sob story when it comes to boyfriends, I met Kenny when I was 18 and literally had two boyfriends before that(and I use that term lightly with them, I was in high school for Pete’s sake!) No bad relationships, no low self confidence, no one I pinned my future on and it washed away. We never had a rocky one either. We knew from day two it was done, we said I love you quickly and became inseparable. We took many vacations together, spilled our hearts out to each other, and dreamed big dreams on a tiny bed in a tiny room of an old duplex.

They say opposites attract and it could never be more truer than us. I am so type A, I’m type double AA.He is go with the flow, get to it when or if he can. I hate messes and disorganization, he doesn’t notice it. I am cautious and follow rules, he’s an adrenaline junkie who reads rules after he’s done it. I am so jealous of his energy for life and so grateful it’s what I married. He inspires me, believes in me, comforts me, and dreams bigger than I do.

Although we are so different, we are identical on the things that matter. Our family comes first, we choose happiness over material things any day. We live for the experience of things, not the story we will post on Facebook. We talk about everything, there are no secrets. I am not below him, he does not ask me for permission to do things. We give each other 100% and pick up when the other is running low one day.

He challenges me, makes me think. I could not imagine a marriage where we did not argue occasionally. It is important to me he is comfortable enough to have an opinion and voice it, no fear of my rebuttal. I am also so thankful in times he doesn’t agree with me, he still sticks up for me. That’s HUGE, a partner that can see your side but not agree with you.

He is a gem, in every way(okay the neatness could be improved 😉 ) and I would marry him every day of my life and still not have said I do enough. Happy six years my love, to ninety more this side of the stars and eternity on the other. <3
