When Andrew and Meg started planning their engagement session, she just wanted it to feel like FALL. We originally were hoping for a pumpkin patch but on a Sunday in October all the ones around are either closed or JAM PACKED so we scratched that idea and turned to the newly renovated New Earth Farm. WOW I can’t say enough about this property and the light that is here, INSANE! They have the sweetest farmers market open weekly and you can go in to buy fresh and local produce/meats, so I was happy to support them on a return trip!!
One of the many things I ask couples is always how did you meet? It’s fun to me to hear different stories, and most of mine are either college OR online! These two? Neither! Andrew first saw Meg when he crashed a wedding she was a guest of and said he knew “from that moment, it was her”….swoon. (Let me also say he has an English accent so image that!) The only catch was Meg had a boyfriend at the time so Andrew spent the next year wooing/proving/convincing her, that he was the one for her. They started dating a year ago and the rest as they say is history. I mean, I am a die-hard romantic so that story literally made me aww out loud over and over!!! We talked about their love of coffee (Megs a barista and told me I’m a perfect Starbucks client ;D) and breweries, their sweet fur baby, and where their future will take them once Andrew finishes his degree next month!!
I also want to just gush over how gorgeous they are! Meg told me good luck because they were “dwerpy” and super awkward in front of the camera, but I’m just going to have to call her bluff because they were anything but and completely easy to work with! I’m so excited for their January wedding at the Historic Post Office!!! I mean her custom wedding dress and that stunning hair, CANNOT WAIT!
