It’s really not often I get to have couples that have known each other since they were kids, growing up in the same circles, and then, later on, turned their friendship into something more! George and Christy have been friends since they were six since their parents were both in the Greek church together. They played basketball, attended school, and all those other rights of passages as teenagers turning into adults we all go through were done together! I always am thankful that Kenny and I have known each other since I was a senior in high school, I can’t imagine being six! What a gift that is to have someone in your life for so long!!

We met up at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens one evening and had the best weather!! I actually thought that we would have the gardens to ourselves but there ended up being a massive event taking place throughout some of the normal gardens I shoot at so we got to discover new places for this session!

Christy and George are HUGE Disney buffs, they are pass holders AND got engaged there! (Plus are planning to honeymoon there!). So I loved talking to them about favorite rides, treats, and hidden treasures we have all found on our many trips to the land of Mickey!
