I almost didn’t blog this session so I could be in denial that she is a senior in high school. Riley came into my life, blonde bouncing curls, nearly ten years ago as a tap dancer at my mother in law’s dance studio. Right after I got married, I started working for her parents at their chiropractic office and kinda sorta nannied Riley. We spent so much time together and I loved every moment with her! She was (and still is )hilarious and just fit right in. Needless to say being asked to photograph her senior pictures was not only a huge honor but a good reality check that time goes by SO fast.
We spent two hours at Norfolk Botanical Gardens and had the most beautiful weather. It’s such a fabulous location because of the variety with each season and small garden within the larger area! In the evening during the week, it’s so private too! Except this night, where we were smack dab in the middle of a massive running club that started on the bridge. Behind the scenes tip, Riley had to hold that pose and be ready until the bridge was clear (which took some time!!).
Riley: I am SO incredible proud of you and excited to watch you finish your senior year and move on to college!! You will do big and great things! <3
