If beautifully and chic wedding images are your thing, then sit back for this black tie wedding at the Norfolk Yacht and Country Club with Meredith and Erik! I knew this one would be one of my favorite days of the year as soon as I met these two for their engagements last summer, they were just so EASY to be around. When I hugged them goodbye I remember wishing Meredith lived closer so we could grab drinks regularly!

The day started at Meredith’s parents beautiful home on the water, hair and makeup and mimosas! Meredith has a large group of girlfriends and they were all getting ready together, along with her bridesmaids. They joked about being a walking ad for rent the runway, but I think they looked better than any ad I’ve seen!

I was able to style Meredith’s details against her grandmother’s silver and it made it so special incorporating those family heirlooms into her day. There were may tears between her first look with her dad and the first time Erik saw her! Meredith’s dress was clearly MADE for her!! It fit like a glove and was SO chic, I had royal wedding flashbacks!!

We headed over to the Norfolk Yacht Club for bridal party AND family pictures before the ceremony. After a strong of wet weddings and an unbreakable heat wave I have never been so excited for an indoor wedding!! Since this was my first one here, I didn’t know what to expect but if you haven’t been here for a big event let me tell you, the inside is gorgeous for an indoor wedding!! I love how Meredith and Erik incorporated her grandfather into their day by adding magnolia blooms into the arbor they got married under!

They were able to share a private dinner during cocktail hour and then head out back for pictures by the water before the reception started! SUCH a great reception between the awesome band, fun dance moves, light up tambourines and sunglasses AND a night that ended with Krispy Kreme donuts!!!

I have to shout out to Haddy Ever After, this was easily one of the smoothest weddings I’ve had!
