It is so surreal for me to look at these photos and know my now 4 week old was only 9 days old here.

They really make me realize I need to stop being so excited for nights that once again bring sleep, a baby who will laugh and sit up, one that will actually play with his brother and just enjoy the now.

we packed it up and headed over to the super talented Trisha Sheehan’s in home studio for Pierson’s much anticipated newborn sessions. I had followed all the suggestions on how to ensure this went smoothly and wouldn’t you know, my child was not having it. Four hours later(lord I was done) we called it a day. Let me just say, newborn photography is an investment. This is one of my cherished things in life, my child. I took him to someone I trusted and who was original, creative but most importantly concerned about his safety and well being the whole time.  You will see so many of these sessions and you can always tell the quality from the lack thereof. If newborn photography is something you’re interested in, please choose wisely! Yes, you may have some sticker shock at first but they are only this tiny for a few weeks!
