It’s not too often that I get to shoot engagements at out of town wedding venues due to scheduling and travel. So I was ecstatic when Ben & Rachel wanted to do their engagements at Rock hill farm, where they’ll wed in 2018!! Rock Hill Farm is a beautiful property situated in the hills of Culpeper VA with tons of land and an updated barn, perfect for dancing into the night!!! Collis, the owner, has made the bridal suites and adjoining grooms quarters completely updated and with all the luxuries. Bride & grooms can even use it the night of their wedding so they don’t have a long trek home. It’s seriously just so beautiful there!

These two are people you instantly feel at ease around, I was sad driving away knowing we couldn’t hang out between engagements and their day!! We spent so much time walking the property and being serenaded by the cows that call it home. Rachel & Ben have such a comfortable kind of love, they simply fit together. If you couldn’t tell we spent a lot of time laughing too because these two are so full of JOY! Rachel reminds me of Pocahontas with her gorgeous skin and long dark hair, can you imagine her as a BRIDE?! Oh my gosh, I cannot wait!!

We ended our session with Ben & Rachel burying a bottle of whiskey. They’ll dig it up on rehearsal night and share a drink on their wedding night! The perfect Irish tradition!
