Shannon and Nate were married on a gorgeous and warm August day at the beautiful Shadowcreek Weddings and Event venue in Northern Virginia. I love this little gem, just outside of the busy DC area. Set on top of a hill with beautiful views, tons of space, the prettiest sunset glow and even sweet Gus the horse to greet guests! 

I first met these two last fall when we did their engagements near their home in Alexandria, VA. It was fall and absolutely beautiful but so LONG ago! To say I was ready for their wedding is an understatement. 

You know what? Their day was perfect all day long. Everyone was so happy to be there and celebrate, focused on Shannon and Nate, beautiful weather and a fun reception! Nate’s dad’s speech during the ceremony brought all the laughs, like big laughs, and his family playing and singing as they made their way back up the aisle after being pronounced husband and wife was the icing on the cake for me!
