I think a lot of photographers in the Virginia Beach area can agree with me when I say the weather this year has been really rough for portraits! Usually by this time in May we’ve had a few weeks of pretty weather and the temps are warmer. This session it was chilly but you’d never know it! If you saw a picture of me on the other side of the camera, you’d see a girl wearing a sweatshirt with a jacket and boots! So needless to say my couples are AMAZING at toughing it out! Brook, Robert and Jaiden met me out at Pleasure House Point in Virginia Beach. One of my favorite areas to shoot at when couples don’t want a beach but like wide open spaces. What’s really fun is you will be seeing these two on my blog next month after their June wedding at Half Moone Cruise and Celebration Center in Norfolk! So excited for that one! I love hearing about their story. Brook and Robert saw each other at work for awhile before a move was made. They’re parents to the CUTEST baby boy who wasn’t too sure about me the whole session. No tears so I’m calling it a win! I’m so looking forward to their intimate nautical wedding and seeing Jaiden all dressed up! (Brook & Robert too! )
