There is always the joke in Hampton roads that the weatherman is wrong. The days leading up to this gorgeous Woman’s Club of Portsmouth wedding, the forecast was clear! Ideal for an outdoor ceremony on the back deck under an arbor with blue and green lanterns and a fall sky. Yet, when we showed up it was sprinkling/misting/just enough to give you glimmers of hope. Bailey was calm as could be, she kept reassuring me it would stop and all would go to plan. It rained during our first look, bridal party portraits, family portraits, and the arrival of guests. Literally as late as a decision could be made they called it to stay on the back deck and the clouds parted! Blue skies gave way and the sunset was incredible! This wedding day is a GREAT example of doing portraits before everything because we simply would not of had time after the ceremony. Also, can every wedding have a cute recessional with bubbles? I am just slightly in love with how all those photos came out!!! After our sweetheart time, this party was ready to get underway! IT WAS A BLAST! With DELICIOUS food courtesy of Montero’s and fun family stories, photo booth parties and of course all the line dances Bailey and her girls have learned together, the reception was nothing short of a great party and celebration! She surprised Dan with a classic car getaway and his reaction was the best! Enjoy your time away you two and really really enjoy Ireland for St. Patrick’s Day!!! (My third couple heading there then!)
