It is so special to watch people you care about get married and this Virginia Beach wedding was nothing short of special! Kimrah is family to me and watching her get her happily ever after meant the world! Now, the weather forecast threatened a downpour as soon as I arrived. The sky was a thick blanket of clouds and it started to mist here or there, but it didn’t matter to Kimrah and the rain never came! You couldn’t contain her excitement to marry Jason and wear her dress! At one point she told us she planned to go grocery shopping in it every day because she loved it that much!
Wedding days are all about family coming together, people joining forces so to speak, to support two people as they pledge to walk together. The fun thing is some of Kimrah’s family has known Jason since he was a tiny kid! This was more like a reunion and I think that comfort could be felt all night long! Black Iris Florist designed some pretty tropical bouquets to tie in her blue and orange theme, DJ Larry D from Astro had two TVs set up running music videos AND jams that kept everyone on the dance floor ALL night (including the flower girl!). Hope you both are loving Puerto Rico!!
