After two weekends of awful weather, with flooding and winds and more flooding, the forecast threatened rain Friday evening. Instead, it turned into the most gorgeous day with a nice breeze and a perfectly shaded back deck come ceremony time. I arrived to the Woman’s Club of Portsmouth and Allie was completely calm. Gemma her bridesmaid gifted me a box with all her details and I got to work. When I unpacked the shoes I let out a small gasp. They were so gorgeous and looked stunning on the velvet chair in the front sitting room, a nod to her wedding colors. Although an accident in the tunnel delayed the ceremony by twenty minutes, it was perfect to wait because nearly HALF the guests were stuck in it! Enter all the guests and here comes Allie down the aisle escorted by her dad Chris. Rob’s reaction was priceless, tears instantly formed and he said to her “You’re beautiful”. Their ceremony was officiated by one of Rob’s childhood friends and was filled with sweet personal vows, where they each pledged their love to each other during the good and bad, and raved about how wonderful of parents the other was to their ADORABLE babe, B. A reception kicked off by sweet B’s dancing to what does the fox say and the rest was history! Congratulations you three and enjoy St. Lucia!
