#manupelladeployment2015 Homecoming

Uncategorized

Growing up a navy daughter, I knew the hardships of deployments all too often. I look back now and have no clue how my mom managed one kid, let alone up to six as my dad neared the end of his career. ANY time away from your family is difficult, not just on the service member but on the spouse holding down the fort back home. Amanda  said goodbye to her husband for five months and she honestly kicked deployments ass. It was not easy for sure, but she did it. ALL BY HERSELF. I hope she looks back now and realizes how strong she is and I know she is setting a great example for her girls. With that being said, Dominic could’t get home fast enough 😀 We met him at the airport two weeks ago and two little girls were so excited! I love homecomings and still get emotional at them! The anticipation waiting to see your loved one round the corner never dies off!! Welcome home Dominic, your girls did good but you’re absolutely their missing piece!
