Jumping Ship to Showit5

Uncategorized

It was about September when I really started to feel like I had completely outgrown my website. I knew I wanted something that reflected my more mature style of photography, more natural approach and mostly was a better showcase for my images. I didn’t want all these things sliding in and fading out, I didn’t want a landing page with a tons of words and pictures and colors. I wanted you to see my work, fall in love with that, my story and who I am. I knew I would switch to Showit but they were rolling out a newer platform and I wanted to wait. I am SO glad I did!! Now, I am by no means a graphic designer let alone very tech savvy. Honestly, installing and designing the program was SO simple. There were a few tutorials when I started, a lot more now!, support group on Facebook and of course the awesome tech support at Showit. I first designed a site from one of the free templates they had but then was randomly browsing over at Foil & Ink and fell in love with her templates! It was easy to install and customize to my style. The few issues I had I emailed over to Karie and she not only hustled to fix them, she called me on a weekend to make it right! Sure the site is pretty and easy, but the customer service is out of this world. I sent a lot of questions over to support and got answers anywhere from minutes to a few days. I take that with a grain of salt as I was using a product they just launched and they offer the help for FREE. Questions I was waiting on, someone could usually help answer in the Facebook group too! Deciding to just up and change my website,  a whole facelift, can seem so daunting but Showit and the staff make it SO easy!! I was up and running quickly and now my site is a far better representation of the work and experience my clients receive! Truthfully, knowing I am supporting a company based here that is “home grown”, reaches out to their clients, KNOWS their clients, is what I value way more. THAT’S a service I give and that’s a service I want to receive.

Okay so really go, try Showit! There’s no cost until you actually launch your site which means you can play around as long as you want, view a live preview, and see it all before it becomes active!showit 5 erika mills wedding photography showit 5 erika mills wedding photography showit 5 erika mills wedding photography showit 5 erika mills wedding photography
