I LOVE engagement sessions and the time I get to spend with my couples. I truly believe in that, in building our friendship the whole time and I am so excited Renee & Jake feel the same way! When we Skyped a few months ago, they both sat in and their joy was SO sweet!!! I have been looking forward to this session since that day! We had to reschedule it since (broken record here; the weather!) and man was it worth it! I typically don’t shoot on the weekends since it’s reserved for weddings and then family time, but spending my Sunday night with these two was so worth it! Literally the very first image was magic and it continued through to that gorgeous sunset! We walked around Pleasure House Point as I learned more about their Virginia Beach Resort and Conference Center wedding scheduled for August, and I could not have loved it more. These two: so incredibly sweet and funny, I felt like I was hanging out with friends I have known forever! Renee is clearly STUNNING and Jake, well he’s smitten! Anyone who knows me is aware I have an obsession with pretty eyebrows and Renee’s take the cake!! Ya’ll look at those gorgeous brows and eyes and face! Is she not beautiful?! I think I may cry seeing her on her wedding day!!! It was chilly and so windy on the bay but you’d never know it from these! She was such a trooper and watching the wind move that dress and her hair, oh my gosh those moments are stunning!

Want to hear something incredibly embarrassing? I actually cried going through these images I loved them so much. Not the actual image, but the people in them and the time we spent together!! Now I’m never a girl to wish summer away but I am definitely counting down the days to this one!
