It has been way too long since I’ve done one of these and the funny thing is I have people bring them up to me! So back on the beauty review horse I go. Summertime is my absolutely favorite season, it involves my favorite holiday (July 4th!) lots of swimming and grilling out, beautiful sunsets and Sunday dinners outside on the patio. What doesn’t love summer as much is my skin and hair! All that sunscreen, sun exposure, chlorine and salt water leaves my skin and hair super dry. Today I’m rounding up four of my current beauty favorites that I use daily or weekly!

1. Express Smile Atlanta Teeth Whitening System: THIS whitening kit is my jam. I will always love a good activated charcoal scrub but this one works GREAT as well! I have super sensitive teeth to whitening products and this one doesn’t make them hurt AT ALL! It does feel kind of awkward with the LED light thing in, definitely not something I could do on like a commute to work or while I was working out but easy enough to do while I am blogging (ahem) or sitting on the couch watching TV or lounging in bed scrolling through beauty blogs. You get two syringes but I am halfway through my second one and each syringe gets about 4 whitening times! A lot of celebrities use these and share their coupon codes regularly so I got my kit for $20. Word of caution: do not make the molds while you were eating Oreos because they will stay in there. GROSS!
2. Coconut Oil: I feel like I couldn’t swing a bat and hit someone who doesn’t love coconut oil. We cook with it, I use it in my hair as a mask before I go to the beach, use it as moisturizer on my face or hands right before bed and occasionally do some oil pulling if I flossed too hard that night. It’s such a cheap and easy alternative to so many things!
3. Jergen’s Wet Skin Moisturizer: I have to admit I was super skeptical of this stuff but I love good lotions and gave it a shot. I am notorious for getting out of the shower, completely drying off, doing my makeup getting dressed and being nearly out the door before I put lotion on. At that point, my skin is back to dry and I lost the head start on good skin I got in the shower (use a Frank Body Scrub before and your skin will be like butter!!) This stuff smells like a Florida vacation and leaves my skin with a nice glow! I noticed my skin stays moist much longer throughout the day!
4. Wunderbrow: Guys, you should know by now I have an eyebrow thing. I love good brows! Well I’ve been cheating on my old brow routine for about three months now and I don’t think I will ever go back! This stuff is great for swimming and sweating, eyebrows stay put for HOURS in the water but also is amazing as a photographer! I used to nearly rub my right eyebrow off at summer weddings and now they both stay put all day! This one does take some getting used to and is more expensive than my old stuff but I think the gain of eyebrows that stay put is well worth it. Follow the instructions, do one eye at a time completely, and you are good to go! I use brunette and the color is perfect!
